Do you only get given a code when order from NA store?

As title asks. I ordered the digital CE through EU store, the terms and conditions of the preorder is won't be charged until 10 days prior to the game being released so in essence I merely have reserved it without charge by preordering through the EU store for the time being when placed that order.

I keep seeing people talk about getting codes though so it makes me wonder are the people getting emailed the codes only the ones who have preordered through the NA store? Did those receiving the codes get charged immediately when placed the order on the NA site as opposed to how the EU one says won't be charged until nearer release so maybe wont send out codes until 10 days prior to release which is when will be charged?

I received a code from clinking the green link box in my confirmation email, and I have not yet been charged to my credit card. I did order from the NA store, but see no reason why it should be different for EU, there's a way to check for your code looking at your account orders on the store site however.

Well I got no code with my preorder and I assumed it was because a) I used the EU store and b) Will not be charged until 10 days prior to release according to the ToC when placed the order.

The EU store does not have any code listings within the account page because it does not have an account page per se, it has a profile page only, within that profile page it says I have registered "FINAL FANTASY XIV: HEAVENSWARD - Collector's Edition / Registered On: 17/03/2015" but there are no links for codes about that product. I just figured the NA store is doing it differently than the EU one hence why no code option in the store or the email sent. The email itself states "When the product is released, you will be sent another email containing information on how your product will be supplied. Please keep both of these emails safe as they contain important information on your purchase. You will usually be charged for the product ten days before the expected release date although this can vary".

I too have ordered from the EU store and my e-mail has no "green link box" in it, as well. Could you show us a screenshot (of course, blur/hide any personal information)?

more of the same here, i tink NA shop does it diferent all this, no code around, no link to any code, no green box, nothing except the confirmation info on me shop acount and the mail

that, or because of the problems whit the shop they decided to change it

Seems like might be right then about there being difference in how EU and NA stores handle the preorders.
