Need some advice on Bard in T13 divebomb

I got some issue dodging the T13 dive bomb. I have been assigned to the right side south east but many time even when i run southeast i still got clip by bahamunt dive bomb. It is like either i can dodge all the dive or got hit by all of them. Sometime i can;t spot bahamnut fast enough or quick enough to turn the camera 180 degree to see where twin is... Any advice? I use controller btw.

Party should be stacking in the middle obv.

    1) Immediately find Bahamut and place him at 12 o clock on your screen.
    2) Move 2 seconds after the red mark appears.
    3) As your moving towards your position, quickly swing your camera around. Adjust camera swing speed as needed.
    4) If Twin(Storm) is directly across from you, cut hard right, so you don't run into Bahamut's path, then spread out from people. If he's not across from you just stay away from other people in your area.

PS: Do not look at Twin's head as that can throw people off on where he may go.

Don't move directly SE. First move E (90 deg from Bahamut), look where Twintania is, then adjust your position. Dive is in two phses: first Bahamut, then Twintani (nd then after this, Megflare). You have time to adjust between Bahamut and Twintania. If you move directly SE, you will be hit, 100% of time.

^ as the person above said.

    - Stack at center and face Bahamut as North.
    - Since you are assigned to the right, which is the East, if you are on Legacy camera mode you can move in reverse to the East so that you are facing the West side while moving (once you are supposed to move)
    - Because you are moving in reverse to the East (right side) and facing the West (left side), check if Twintania is coming from there while you are still moving to the East position. If Twintania isn't then it is obvious coming from your behind, quickly turn cameras to see where she is.
    - Once you know where Twintania is start adjusting accordingly. South-East, and which ever other positions assigned to your other team mates are just a guideline on how your team should spread out instead of a dead fix position where you should root yourself there.

This is the essence of the dodging part. Understanding it allows you to quickly handle all Twintania's dive's possibilities and the possibility that one or two of your team mates made a mistake and came to your side when they shouldn't.

For example, once Bahamut starts the diving animation, you can start moving towards South if you have to, especially if Twintaina is coming directly from the East, where staying SE could be dangerous. Similarly everyone doesn't need to stick yourself at the edge of the arena either. For example, if you have to shift to the South to dodge the Twintania coming from the East and someone happens to be there, you can stand closer into the inner of the arena a little but not in the diving path of the Twintania - once she starts diving, move back to your SE or even East position, depending on who is there. There is a little gap between Twintania's dive and the start of Megaflare, as such the inner arena is also a place for you to stand and move around as long as you get out quickly while Twintania is diving so that you don't drop the circle floor Megaflare at the center where you guys will stack for it later.

The art of this part of the fight is learn to react, and learn to wing around the dives. Once you know how to wing around the dives you will be able to counter and possible mistakes your team mates make (eg ppl come to the wrong side).

Actually, my first T13 was with a group that actually kinda #yolo on the positions. 6 of us went to the left side but because we are constantly on the move to dodge the dives and adjust away from each other, none died to the divebombs.

one thing to help .... Character Config > Control Settings > General 'tab' > near the bottom increase your camera turn speed to 100

and if the MT is near you ... you can stand on top of him/her w/o having to worry about the initial splash damage from Mega-Flare

If you can use headphones, it may be easier to hear where Bahamut descends (you're listening for a short, wing-swoopy sound).

There are actually a whole lot of permanently safe spots if both dive bombs were baited exactly mid. I don't have the picture but it's something like this:

Basically Bahamut and the Twintania clone can only come in from 8 predefined spots, and the circles in that picture are spots that will never get aimed at in any way if the dive bombs come in at a straight line towards the middle from the 8 spots. While you can easily dodge the dive bombs on reaction, it's a lot simpler if you just get a feel for where your guaranteed safe spots are and gravitate towards them.

Yeah i noticed Bahamut Dive path is actually quite large so even if i run at 4:00 direction there is a chance of me getting hit

In that case, after facing Bahamut north you would be needing to move from the middle to your designated location, while being closer to the wall.

I don't see how this is bard specific but whatever

    I personally always do this

find bahamut, turn 90 degrees towards my side
wait for green mark. Run as soon as it shows up, pan camera around 180 to check if twin is opposite. Once you find twin adjust accordingly.
