    I entered the code for the upgrade in psn to download the the game client. So i should have received another code for the Collector's Edition?

    I received an email that confirmed i had purchased the Collector's Edition and it has an Inquiry Number but i don't think that's for registration.

    I'm really at a lost to me it sounds like your subscription time is up and you need to resub for 30 more days or add a time card.

    i went through my banking and my subscription had been renewed on the 7th of this month so it couldn't be that. I'll try calling Square Enix's support number, thanks for the help though!

    I don't think you need to do anything or add any codes on psn to get the CE items if it shows up already on the mog station. It's been a while since I did the CE upgrade, but I think that's automatic. They should just be sent to you via moogle mail once you get your ps4 problems fixed and are able to log in.

    well the thing is i can't even log in im still stuck on registering my account so i can play on my ps4. when you start up the client for the first time it asks for you to select a product and when i try to do that it won't let me select the collector's edition and that is the only option.

    I wish I could remember what I did when I upgraded, (it was only like a month ago, bad memory I guess) but I definitely did not have this problem.

    So tell me if this was what you did:

    1) You followed these instructions and downloaded the client on your ps4:

    Product Code Confirmation

    The PlayStation®3 license registered to your service account has been upgraded to the PlayStation®4. Use the product code below to begin downloading FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.


    FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn PlayStation®4 Version (Upgrade) Product Code
    * Only one product code can be applied to your service account.
    * The product code will expire when the upgrade campaign ends on March 31, 2015.

    XXXX-XXXX-XXXX


    Please sign into the PlayStation®4 using the Sony Entertainment Network account you use for the PlayStation®3 version of FFXIV.
    Promotion Codes can only be used once, so please note that it will not be possible to download FFXIV on another Sony Entertainment Network account in the event you download it to the incorrect Sony Entertainment Network account.

    2) You then signed in on your ps4 and it asked you if you possessed a square enix account?


    Edit: Is the client already downloaded to your ps4 or is it stuck on registration before the actual download?

    yes i followed all of those steps and the client has been downloaded to my ps4. When i start up the client it asks if i possess a Square Enix account and then asks me to login. After i login is asks "Please Select the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn product to be registered to your Square Enix account" and the only option for me is "FFXIV: A Realm Reborn - Collector's Edition PlayStation(R)4" but when i try to select that option (there's a bubble next to it where i click to select it) it doesn't select. No matter how many times i try to select it, it doesn't mark that i selected it and the only other option is to click "Next" and proceed to creating a new service account.


    I just got a hold of someone on the support center and according to them i just had to create a new service account and then have them deactivate it so i could use my regular account (if that makes sense) everything should be solved now. thanks!
