Heavensward region

So currently i run on ps4 eu version. (R2)
So, i have to buy eu version for heavensward too? For it to work.

If i get a na version it wont work?

I'm not sure how it would work in a expansion so don't take my word if it will work.

But I thought all ps4 games wernt region locked.

Yes, NA version won't work if your main game is EU. You have to have the same region as your main game. Sorry I can't provide a link to where it says this as I can't remember where I read this only yesterday, but it was this way with expansions with FFXI and likewise preorders for 2.0 (preorder code only worked in certain region) and some of the physical items with ingame minions were region locked and game time cards are also region locked so this is just SE's way sadly
