    can i still play on a ps3 after I...

    As the title says can I still play ffxiv arr on my ps3 if I were to opt in for the ps4 free upgrade or do I need a ps4 and/or another ps3 key? Cause in a couple of months I'm going to be buying me a ps4 to replace my dying ps3 and I wanted to know if I opt in for the free ps4 upgrade if I can still play on my ps3 till I get my ps4 after opting in.

    No, you cannot play on your ps3 once you upgrade. I believe it says so somewhere on the upgrade page.

    Well if you upgrade to ps4 version, you can't play in ps3 anymore. Btw i transfered my ps3 version to ps4 in the PSN store website, because i only will buy my ps4 in 5-6 months o/ you don't need log in ps4 to transfer, just use the PSN website.

    The game is a lot more stable on the PS4, trust me when I say that you won't want to go back to the PS3 once you've tried it.

    I don't think that was their issue. I believe they are wanting to opt in but don't have the ps4 yet.
