    Sooooooooo... Heavensward for PS3

    I am just curious about this, since I clearly seem to recall that PS3 service was not going to carry over into the expansion, so the game can be allowed to move forward without being held back by technological limitations. In fact, I thought that was the main point of the PS4 upgrade campaign. So, is the announcement saying that Heavensward will be available for the PS3 an error, or did you guys change your mind? And if so, why?

    They said PS3 would be supported when 3.0 released but they not sure of the timeframe after 3.0 release.

    Yeah, they said PS3 would be supported at 3.0's release but they don't promise that it'll continue being supported past that.

    It is supported and you can order Heavensward for PS3 as we speak. But, I imagine PS3 will not be ideal to play on as updates go by, if that's what you mean by "technological limitations." I believe that is why Square Enix is pushing the upgrade to PS4 campaign.
