With the eairly access code how many days can we play after the launch date ?

Do you know how long we get before we have to enter the code from the physical edition? When I ordered the physical collectors edition it said it could take 7-9 days for shipping to arrive. Do we get at least a couple weeks past the launch date with our early access pre order code?

I'm curious about this as well. Also, are we charged immediately if we preorder or only when it shops like Amazon?

What are you even asking? Early access lets you play Heavensward content a few days before it's official release date. Of course you can play after the date as well...

As for Riaa's question, I've preordered from the SE store and they don't charge until it ships.

The question is that since the game ships slowly, we don't expect to have it until after the launch. As long as we punch in the early access code, are we able to still play the expansion even if we haven't received the physical box with the games code in it?

Yes, you can download the game early if you use the preorder code.

    From the preorder website:
"By redeeming this code, you will be able to download the game client for early access and receive the exclusive pre-order in-game items (Baron Circlet, Baron Earrings and Chocobo Chick Courier) via the Moogle Delivery service in-game mail system when official service begins."

Grace period. People playing during early access might not have access to the actual expansion serial key (because they might not have received it depending on shipping), which means they will get locked out of expansion content if the grace period is too short.

If you are worried about getting your early access items, you should get a long time to redeem them even if you miss early access. At 2.0 release, we had a whole year after the release date to enter the early access code to redeem the pre-order bonus items.

If you are worried about billing, then at 2.0, people were given 3 days grace after the end of early access. In effect people who pre-ordered got extra 3 days free on their billing. However unless your current billing will end before the launch of 3.0, you shouldn't need the grace period anyway as the Heavensward package does not come with free subscription, meaning unless you don't plan to be playing after early access (in which case why did you even pre-order), you need to extend your subscription before that time anyway.

I think you forgot something. It doesn't make sense to grant early access yet block you from expansion content. So most likely early access code will grant you access to the new content.
You need to enter the code from the physical edition to play expansion content. SE is giving you early access with a different code that is in the email. At some point in time your expansion access expires then you must enter your code from the physical edition Their shipping says it takes 7-9 days to receive the physical edition. If I use the early access code then am locked out of the game because I am in a expansion area I could be waiting like 9 days to play my account again because my physical package is till in the mail, since I can't enter the code till the package arrives.

I think there would be a grace period then, and the grace would also apply to access of expansion content as well.

I assume that they'll give a grace period of about a week or so at launch. They did so at 2.0 launch so I doubt they'll change it up much. CE benefits will probably be greyed out until actual launch/code activation though so I'll be a grumpy Au Ra trapped in a manqote body for 4 days, (unless I buy another fantasia).
