Is that not just for the early access, though? You could download the client for 1.0 and 2.0 early access as well, but you were locked out as soon as day 1 hit if you did not tie a copy of the game to your account.

If they let us keep playing after early access then what's stopping people from canceling their orders as soon as they get in?

For 2.0 Early Access that is false, you were not locked out on day 1 when the game officially launched, you had a 7 day grace period at the official start of launch to get your actual physical copy product key input into your account before you couldn't log on anymore w/o it.

90% sure they will send you a code in the email you used to order or will allow you to D/L it via their site before that time. cuz the Heavensward bonus code says "DOWNLOAD".

In the confirmation email for your pre-order there is a link to get a code that will allow you to get the early access game download from the Mog Station.

It did say they're charging you for it a few days before it shipped, so I assume you can't cancel your order at that point. By the time you could get access to those areas, you've already been charged for it.

Also, I finally got my order to go through. Chrome would NOT let me do it, no matter how many times I refreshed. Weirdly enough, it was Internet Explorer that allowed me to get all the way through the process with minimal refreshing and no issues on the drop down menus.
