I don't know why anyone would want to use the Mac client though, considering it's not a native client, it's going to have limited performance compared to playing it through bootcamp.

where is the information saying the mac version wont be native? it was my impression that version would be native to the mac.

oh nevermind. transgaming cider, what a waste. seriously SE a total disappointment there.
better than using windows emulation but still a waste.
making the game native would have made you look a lot better. this just makes you look lazy and greedy.

Yes, you can only buy a bundle for the Mac, the expansion will not be available separately. You will also not get any Early Access.

Yes, I believe that was indeed the case.

You have to buy the game for each platform you want to run it on, but the account and subscription is only a single monthly payment. So, you'll need to pay for any additional client you want to use, but it's a one time charge.

I already have to buy 4 damn copies of the expansion... (ps4/pc for wife and I). If I have to pay for the mac client... I don't know.

Yes, you will need to purchase the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online bundle (containing A Realm Reborn and Heavensward) to be able to play on the Mac version of the game.
