Which, they really should fix their system. Expecting people to never move from one region to another is just foolish. And expecting the customer to deal with the hassle of working around this system is going to cost them sales for no benefit I can see. . .Incorrect.
There's only 3 region codes, NA, JP & Worldwide. The region codes are tied not to the region you live in, but the region your account is registered in. North American SE accounts will need the NA copy - JP accounts need JP accounts. You can live in Japan and still use an NA account.
Worldwide however, covers ALL of the Oceanic Region, Africa, the whole of Europe and a majority of Asia.

Since I'm at work I have a feeling I won't be getting a physical CE either. But I'm thinking maybe that's a blessing. I planned to get it but an extra $50 for a tiny little 3 inch tall plastic dragon and some fancy cardboard packaging? I don't think Yoshis hands are very big and that thing was smaller than his hand in the live letter. I'm still debating wether to get it but I won't be disappointed if I dont.

On their Facebook Page:
To all EU players attempting to pre-order Heavensward:
The EU SQUARE ENIX Store and the French SQUARE ENIX BOUTIQUE are currently experiencing technical difficulties but rest assured, the issue is being investigated and addressed.
New updates will follow as additional information becomes available. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Yea, it's been a pain for friends of mine here. I play on NA servers though so I am in the boat of waiting, that they have seemed to been placed on as well. All in due time I suppose.
Kinda makes you wonder what measures they exact to prepare for such things....

I am very amused at the many reactions on the forum. About people worrying that they won't be able to buy a physical CE. Really now...I have yet to see a single FF physical CE release being sold out at launch... This isn't a madonna concert or something. But hey, that's what good marketing does. Giving people the illusion that there's a very small limited amount of CE. So that people are feeling compelled to buy it asap.
I'm betting that people will still be able to preorder it 1-2 weeks from now. After all S-E is after our sweet money, so it will be foolish of them to have a low stock.

It sold out on the Japanese Store yesterday so I'm guessing that's where people are getting the illusion from.I am very amused at the many reactions on the forum. If the general admission for an ff14 event can sell out in less than 5 minutes, when there's 1800 tickets, I believe they can sell a game just as fast.I am very amused at the many reactions on the forum.
