Did all of my PLD Zodiac dungeon drops as my SMN, because I needed Lights for my SMN Nexus.

Now that I have Excalibur and Aegis, and my SMN Nexus, I'm doing dungeons as PLD to get the Zodiac dungeon drops for my SMN, to take advantage of PLD's fast queue times.

You can do the dungeons as any job, and still get the drops. However, remember that the drop rate is low; you may need to do a dungeon many times before you get the drop.

I'm just waiting for someone to start the rumor that the drop rate is higher if you go on the job you're collecting for. But only when the moon is full. And you have to face west while killing the final boss of the dungeon. And have to be wearing at least one level 1 piece of gear. Doing all this will increase drop rates by 5%!!! It must be true, cuz I heard a guy, and that guy, you know, totally got the drop when he did this!

There is an easier way.
Do the dungeon as a Ninja and use Mug on the endboss as the last hit.
