Relic Nexus Question

I just got my Artemis Bow Nexus and doing next quest in line bought item 20k GC seals, 100k Gil item, and 1600 soldery item, now npc asked for items from 2 dungeons which as bard take 20 min + queue.
My question is will the item drop if I do the dungeon as PLD or I have to be BRD which is the nexus weapon I'm working on?

I got all my BLM drops doing the dungeons as a WHM

You can do this with whatever classes you desire. I did my excalibur relic with my WHM so I could holy spam all day and speed things up.

the nexus->zodiac can be done without ever actually running as the class you're actually earning the weapon for except for the turn-ins at the beginning and end.

Did all of my PLD Zodiac dungeon drops as my SMN, because I needed Lights for my SMN Nexus.

Now that I have Excalibur and Aegis, and my SMN Nexus, I'm doing dungeons as PLD to get the Zodiac dungeon drops for my SMN, to take advantage of PLD's fast queue times.

You can do the dungeons as any job, and still get the drops. However, remember that the drop rate is low; you may need to do a dungeon many times before you get the drop.

I'm just waiting for someone to start the rumor that the drop rate is higher if you go on the job you're collecting for. But only when the moon is full. And you have to face west while killing the final boss of the dungeon. And have to be wearing at least one level 1 piece of gear. Doing all this will increase drop rates by 5%!!! It must be true, cuz I heard a guy, and that guy, you know, totally got the drop when he did this!

There is an easier way.
Do the dungeon as a Ninja and use Mug on the endboss as the last hit.

Can you do AV / DD on a sub-50 class and still get the drop? My WHM is 46 and I'd love to get him to 50 while slogging through those.

They are suppose to drop. I was in the same boat, Was doing my relic for MNK and the queues were up to 45mins sometimes. They say you can get items while on another class, But it didn't feel that way. I tried to do so many dungeons as PLD and didn't get anything, then I would switch to MNK and it would drop call it RNG, but I felt like I had better chances on the class.
