Digital CE vs Standard?

With pre-orders going live in a few hours I figured I would ask.

I like getting the most bang for my buck, but I am on the fence with the digital CE.. It's $20 more and from what I hear comes with a flying mount and some jewelry.

I believe the jewelry is just cosmetic, but if I am wrong please let me know.
The mount is what I question. How hard is it to get a flying mount in the expansion. If a standard one is given out as a quest then there is no value to me as I don' "Collect" mounts like some people do..

So for me it seems there is no real value (only my opinion) to the digital CE. Now if it costs like 200k for a flying mount or the jewelry has stats or a bonus to wearing it.. then we talking.

If your not into collecting mounts then dont worry one will be given to you in the story line. I think its a black flying chocobo. I dont know if the head peice gives stats but once they did a mog head peice and it gave a boost in exp untill level 10 so maybe might be the same

I think the Digital CE of the game came with jewelry at launch.. Anyone remember if they had stats or a bonus..
If they had like 10% exp increase to 60 I would totally send the $20 on it..
I would need that confirmed though. Think we will ever know?

extra 20 bucks for the mount is worth it to me. I find it a little strange that a chocobo is flying.

Yea, but if you can get something for free through the game play? And it does the SAME thing..
If your a collector then maybe its worth the $20..

I would also take the CE cause I want the minions and the mount looks nice

If you look at how they did the chocobo mount, you can't even use your CE mounts (coeurl and fat chocobo) if you haven't unlock your normal chocobo first. So my bet is that there will be a standard flying mount that everyone have to unlock first (and wouldn't be that much difficult than unlocking your first mount).

The extra $20 is so worth it for the griffin mount alone. I will be buying the CE edition.

I would guess that the special flying mount would require having the standard flying mount unlocked first, the same way that regular mounts can't be used until you have the chocobo unlocked.
