Did most of you dislike the summer music? I thought it was catchy as hell.

It was cool for a week. But then I got sick of hearing it in every town, and in several parts of each outside area throughout my travels. My brother came in when I was in the market wards and said "wtf is that god-awful noise?" within 5 seconds. lol

I liked it a lot. Am I sad it's gone? No.
I heard it everywhere I went even without being in a city so it was just too much after 3 weeks.

I liked it at first, felt festive. But it should've been restricted to the main towns and the hamlets. Not in the field please!

It's pretty bad when your 7 year old kid walks around the house humming the festival theme, even when I'm not logged into FFXIV. Now that the music is gone, I still have to listen to her humming it! You brainwashed my daughter SE!

It was good for first 1-2 days after that you probably got hypnotized to like the music lol

It was good music but hearing it at every zone was bit too much for me, was hoping just the cities... at least for next year...

You guys are lucky you only had to listen to it in game. I live on the 28th floor of my condominium and they play the same song in the elevator.

It's not bad, but when you have to listen to the same one minute long track over and over almost everwhere (even in the Market Wards!), then it does start to grate on you.

I had to turn off the ingame music after about 2 days. I could not take it anymore. The music was everywhere.

In case you need additional hyperbole on this, I was OVERJOYED when the normal Ul'dah music played during cutscenes.
