Please, for the umpteenth time, I ask that you remove these insanely ridiculous and utterly unnecessary post restrictions.

The 1000 characters per post limit.

For one, it screws with nobody but those people who are simply eloquent and/or opinionated and/or supportive and would like to simply write down their thoughts or offer advice or whatever. 1000 characters is simply not enough, not in the English language anyway. It's very frustrating to always be thrown (back) to the Advanced editing screen because a post is 1100-something or 1300-something or 2500-something words long and needs to be edited. It's especially annoying because after posting a shortened version, with a simple editing (again!) we can add in all that was cut off and have the whole text posted anyway. This makes it simply redundant in the first place. For two, dev posts are quite often 2000-3000 or even 5000+ words long, which is simply not setting a good example at all by not adhering to your own restrictions - it's perfectly understandable for "civilians" to be expecting to be able to make long posts like that when they see "official" people doing it. I understand the reasons, sure, but come on... It's more punishing/annoying to those who don't mean any harm than preventing anything some trolls might do.

The number of posts per day limit.
Just today I was trying to reply to a post and I got this message in my face when I clicked on the post button:
New forum post cannot be made due to either you have reached your daily limit or your main character's level is not high enough.
Now, on one hand, I can't fathom what my character's level has to do with this - why it has to have anything to do with this. If it's a remnant from the beta days, getting rid of it is waaaaaaay overdue, please do so. If it's a forum-member-level thing (doesn't sound so, but whatever), then it is way too obsolete and does not need to be there at all. On the other hand, my daily limit? I tracked back my posts from my profile. Up to that point, today I made 14 (fourteen, yes) posts. I went further, because I do not know what timezone the server is ticking on - yesterday's post count was 10. That's altogether 24 posts for today and yesterday, and you're telling me that's my daily limit? Like, I shouldn't be posting faster than one per hour? I'm not sure where whoever made this up lives, but where I live, that couldn't be farther from viable when it comes to actual discussions. Especially when there is a maintenance and more people flock to the forums to talk or vent their frustrations. Not to mention a lot of it is actual feedback which you say you're collecting - where's the logic in limiting us from letting you know? It's just bloody stupid, that's what it is.

And anyhow...
With all those stickies everywhere, is there even one place where all these things are summed up? Written down and posted? Y'know, so we could look at them and actually know? It should be the most prominent thing, such general information, pinned somewhere above even the Information subforum in the list... but for the life of me, I can't find any such. Which is a shame, since these are quite basic things, and apparently we can easily run into them.

In short. Please just get rid of character and post limits already. They are punishing, they are unnecessary and one is even circumventable, so makes even less sense. At the very least, have a post about them linked somewhere prominent and clearly visible, perhaps even accessible from most anywhere on the forum. Thank you.

This feedback was made with no help whatsoever from the abovementioned limitations.
