Just don't buy it. No idea why people are falling over themselves to give SE money - the expansion is 3 months away. 3 months - plenty will happen between now and then.
no/low sales figures will send the message loud and clear.

Oh my! What a post
Yes they do, it's called the European Economic Union
Basically you want to say that people living in the UK should pay 40% more because they earn 40% more than a sort of right price for the rest of Europe?Your neighbourg cost of living isnt the same as yours (speaking of different countries) the value of USD 10 is not the same in the US for a local then it has for me if I go on holiday. USD 10.-- you do nothing in here where I live, barely you can buy a coffee or two. In Italy a coffee costs around EUR 1, where I live converted is EUR 4.--. Tell me you sure you would spend EUR 90.-- for BASIC game (price of a new game in here where I live) and this allover the world ? when you know that in some countries EUR 90.-- is the monthly wages??
You are contradicting yourself a lot in this last part of your post.
Dude, you don't understand anything about economics. Digital content is not imported.People see only the exchange rate but what you need to look at is what you can do in your country and this of the country you buy it from with the same amount, in my example EUR 90.--
Beside that, there are rules of import/export in each countries, even if I receive a DVD from the US I will pay the difference at the custom, between the price that I paid to buy it and the value it has or would be sold in here where I live.
Mei.
if you take it like that ...yes.. it isnz that I WANT IT, hell if I could I would buy it for free, but that is a reality that plays a role when you fix prices, a reality that a company cannot ignore and nobody can ignore. WHy you think when you go and buy clothing elsewehre you are limited in what you can effectively buy outside of your country of domicile ? because of it, ti is considered importation and subject to taxes which I explained in a nutshell. You really believe that a product sold in France has the same price as the same product sold in Portugal ? you dreaming right ? Economic union doesnt mean the price is the same allover...or else allover Europe for the same job you would earn the same and is not the case nor is the prices for a house in France the same as this of Spain...eh?
You pay 40 % more but you also earn 40 % then the average person of the other country (kidn of sort of...well not that much but still more). I dont say mistakes dont occur and probably 40% is a bit much but saying you have the right to pay the SAME as the other country, that is a non sense...even if I wished it was otherwise.
Other then that, each to their own, nothing forces you to buy it.

Again, digital content is not clothing, nor anything material.
I was looking forward to this, but with the present pricing situation, I'm a U.K resident, I have decided not to buy. It's not just the disappointing extras, for the price. I just don't think this game in it's present form can demand such a price.

Paid my £129.99 at 7am this morning. Not happy about it.
Last time I paid this much in one go for a game was for the Lord of the Rings Online. Pre-release you could pay £120.00 to become a founder - beautiful CE (much better than this disappointing Heavensward box), early access and a lifetime subscription (to one of the most innovative and slick MMOs produced so far I must add). After a few years it went F2P, but I now get Cash Shop points every month at no cost which is more than enough to purchase the expansion packs as they are released. What excellent customer service.
You could learn a thing or two, Square. Here's hoping that you make some reparation to your UK subscribers.
Now this is a sound reasoning, which is probably THE ONLY means of pressure customers in this case users have which is NOT to buy, demand/offer also plays a role in the price, beyond all the rest. Each people are free to determine if they want to spend so much or not. Like when you enter a shop, you are free to buy or not, the price is there ...decideI was looking forward to this, but with the present pricing situation, I'm a U.K resident, I have decided not to buy. Apart that, all is fine. I tried to buy it and pay in GBP, I couldnt do it, I had to pay it in EUR, which is silly..since I am not part of EU....as in European Union
