These comments make me laugh. Do you know how much tax they pay? The shipping costs they incur? Your answer is most definitely no, because you dont. I would imagine the higher cost is due to the shipping and tax they pay.

Nope taxes shouldn't be that ridiculous, there are many other companies which have done CE things which are closer in price to what everyone else gets, why does SE get to be different with this?

Not an issue for me. US account, US shipping, US costs. Doesn't make your harebrained attempt to justify costs any more valid, though.

If only it was simple as that, some people really wanted to get the collectors edition but apparently we have to pay extra for no good reason while other countries actually get reasonable price for it.

As said above taxes aren't the reason, with taxes it only be just above £100.

Insulting your logic isn't the same as insulting you. We all have the occasional dumb idea; that doesn't make us all dumb.

I may not know the reasoning behind the UK costs, but VAT has been repeatedly pointed out to be 20%, which leaves, what, 30 GBP unaccounted for? If you really think it costs them 30 GBP per unit to ship. . .and that's not counting that the buyers are still going to be charged separate shipping, anyway.

Huh looks like you ran out of posts so arguing back and forth will be hard for you(nvm don't know why you edited your post backwards to reply to a future post then :/), also still wrong, the Physical CE for EU is being distributed from the UK we don't need to pay ridiculous shipping fees for that.

Actually it is obvious for anyone in UK to tell what the real reason is.

The excuse that all products in UK has 20% added tax was used to explain why good use to cost more when sold in UK. But in the case of the CE edition the currency symbol was changed from $ to £.

An easy way to just charge the UK customers a lot more.

$130 is £88.07. Add 20% VAT and you get £105.69. Not even close to £130. even if you added say an extra £10 for some random cost it comes to £115.69. That is $170.76.

So please stop pretending you have any idea what you are talking about and telling people they do not know what is going on. Unless you are going to tell us you are an experienced forex trader or you have a degree in economics you are the one that is chatting crap.
