Everyone should just spam the EU twitter account asking about the £ price. Seems they monitor that more than this thread.

Agreed. I'm going to periodically query them whether I can register a CE bought in euros on my account. Even if the £ price is a good 50 euros more, if I can just import a euros version I'm going to do it that way.

A CE bought in Euros will work on a UK(£) account. They have confirmed. The Euro store will not ship to the UK though.

SE need to give out some kind of statement even if it's a blank "No, the price will not be changed", anything is better than leaving people wondering.

UK and EU codes are the same
EU/UK and US codes are not.

Even if you can, there is a chance you might get slapped with import duty added with the inconvenience of the order taking longer to get to you. It might not be cost effective and ending up paying the extra anyway. That would be out of SE's control.

You'd probably need to get it shipped to an address somewhere outside of the UK though i.e. France, Germany etc. and then have them forward it on since I doubt the checkout will let you choose the UK as a destination.

How are you planning on buying it in Euro's from within the UK, a VPN?

They have, unfortunately, stated that the store is region locked currency wise, which means people in the UK can only pay in GBP

Pretty much. Also helps to have family over there so no need to worry about import duty either.

you can order using euro from the uk if you imput to go to the FR store, but the downside is there is no shipping to the uk so unless he has someone in europe to have it to send to him he won't get it in the uk :c
