    While we cannot give an estimate on when the EU Square Enix Store/Boutique will become available, please be aware that it will not be going live today.

    Of course, this means that pre-orders for Heavensward in the PAL territory will not be available on 16th March as previously announced, but will unfortunately be postponed. Once again, please accept our most sincere apologies.

    However, as mentioned, we will make sure to update you ahead of time to let everyone know when service on the store will resume.

    This sounds to me like we can get a safe nights sleep in the EU before we can actually order them. (Which tbh i don't really mind right now. Not like it goes live tomorrow and i can use the sleep after today haha).

    First off, I know the pricing has nothing to do with you but...

    Can you get them to sort the UK physical CE price out please? Or atleast pass the feedback from the relevent threads to let them know how annoyed all of us in the UK are at this blatant rip off.

    Please don't take this the wrong way but I have asked Square Enix UK to confirm this on their Twitter feed (so you may also want to inform them as I know a lot of people are watching that feed with the hope we can pre-order on the day we should of been able to).

    As long as the americans can preorder, that's all that's important, right?

    Honestly, it's disgusting that you guys fix the NA site immediately, 10 hours after ours went down, and ignore us. Really disgusting.

    Maybe they were testing some "fixes" on the NA site, but it was still mostly unresponsive and only barely operational. Presumably the EU store will learn from the NA issues and work much better when it reopens.

    [I would expect and certainly hope that they weren't thinking "oh yeah, let's make the site not load and if it ever does let's make it take 2 hours to check out, and let's be especially cruel to our EU players because... we hate them!"]

    Or they just waysided us, the same way we've been waysided for a while. No EU datacenter, 1 Fanfest day compared to NA and JP's 2 days... Hell. and we barely get any community contests to enter as opposed to other regions. We're third-class customers which aren't worth applying fixes for, and pay £42 extra on our copy of heavensward for the privilege of being treated as unimportant.

    Sorry for sounding salty. I'm happy for you guys that you got to pre-order, hopefully you got the CE you wanted. In regard to SE though, words can't describe how terrible thier service is to EU players.

    Not pleasant news but I can at least not worry about this today. Thanks for the heads up.
