Does the SE store take cash up front when pre ordering or is it like amazon where they dont charge until it ships

Looks like they charge when ships This is what their site says. This is for the NA store

A pre-order is an order you place for a product which will be released and shipped at a later date, but for which you will not be charged until within a few days of shipping.

Not sure about game preorders, but when I ordered my Delivery Moogle from the NA SE store, it did not charge me (and the delivery moogle wont ship now until atleast June) so I'm guessing they dont charge you until it it ships.

The EU store States that payment is at the time of order, so I guess it depends on which store you're using.

They usually charge a day or two before it ships.

Doesn't really matter what shipping you choose, SE store usually ship items prior to their release date so they arrive on release day.
