Working as intended. Max face value is A (10). Also minimum face value is 1 and doesn't go lower with Decension.

i have seen it where a card that has A (+2) (which should still be just a A) is capable of Flipping cards that have values up to A or with a A pointing towards it, thats the big i have seen.
Sometimes you just got to have Some fun

The max value is Ace=10. You can have +9 on a card of all 1's and all sides will become a value of 10. You can have Ace+9 and it'll still =10. Since that card was 8+2 it was at the value cap nothing will flip it aside from a combo from another side or a "Same" bonus.
I believe the Same wall rule was the only thing removed from this version of Triad

It's worth noting that even if the max face value on a card is A, Plus rule counts higher (up to 20 since max face value is A and A+A is 20). The only way to flip A is with Plus, Same or Fallen Ace rules.

10 is the max you can't go over 10 even with ascension.
I wish on wiki and some of the TT websites I've visited had this information. I was getting so frustrated as to why a '12' wouldn't beat an 'A' (example).
Then again, it was probably my fault for not reading the patch notes properly...![]()

Uh. No, it wouldn't flip it, though it would still count in Plus. So 6 + 6 would be the same as A + 2.
If you really HAVE seen that, then that WOULD be a bug and should be reported accordingly.
