Have I been hacked?

Not sure what's going on but never have I had this strange issue and I have been actively playing since launch. I have rarely gotten disconnect issues and never have been disconnected more than a few minutes. However, last night I got disconnected right as my screen went black as I was about to enter a DF dungeon.

I tried to re log in the game about a dozen times and each time it held at the loading screen saying there was an error connecting to the server lobby. After about 30 minutes of trying to connect I gave up and logged out for the night. This morning I go to log in and when i get to the lobby (the screen that shows your character and world information) I get held on a pop up that says world is full, waiting on queue, players 1. Well, this keeps refreshing itself about every 4 seconds but does not refresh beyond the same 1 in queue. Tried several times re starting the game and for the past 40 min this has been where my game is at.

Never heard anyone post about an issue like this and just finding it very odd that it's happening after getting disconnected the previous night.

Any advice?

Its an ongoing issue switch your data center to a JP one and then back to right one and it will fix it!

1) There are a few threads about it here and in the technical support forum. Closing the client and immediately attempting to log back in seems to alleviate it for most people.

2) Why on earth would this make you think you were hacked?

Never been stuck in queue for that long a period of time, worst case to me was in a queue of thousands which took quite a while to get in, most of time though I tend to get stuck in queue of around 1-20 people and after I log out and back in it lets me in. It sounds like maybe a glitch on yours as if always one person and log out and back in still behind one person it is doubtful it is anything related to hacking and more to do with a glitch in your client maybe.

If you get disconnected it takes a while for your character to log out even though your not in game personally, this I think is done so you have a chance to get back in before loot timer etc type things end and is around 5 minutes I believe. You get a message saying your character is still in game give it few minutes and try again but you should be able to get back in. To me your issue sounds like a client/server glitch. Try doing what others suggested.

Hmm strange, I think I know what it was. I'll post what I think was the issue, although it makes no sense to me. Anyway, right after I finished this the original post, I decided to try one more time. At first I had background stuff running (a website and some music loaded on youtube for when I log in). Well, by closing it out, I was able to log in right away. All I can think of is that I always have youtube for music, or some other music player on but after thinking about it, I realized I had these programs running after I had logged in. So my guess is that my game does not like me having anything running before I log in. Who knows. It works now but that is all I can think of. Maybe someone out there has an issue like this. If so, close out all programs before you try to log in again.

No, please stop making false speculation. That's now how things work and many of us were having issue.

If someone did manage to hack you, the first thing that they'd do is change the password to keep you out (they've done it to me on FFXI). So you'd get a password error if you were, no worries.

Even then if get a message telling you your password is wrong, it still does not mean did get hacked. SE system works in a way that if reset your router it sometimes tells you your password is wrong and asks you to reset your password for security purposes, generally I assume due to IP change if your IP is not static. I have never been hacked yet have had to change my password a LOT due to this. It is annoying but I am okay with it in general as a security measure.

There was maintenance last night, which wasn't announced through the normal channels because it was only a partial maintenance, which kicked a bunch of us off. As for the queues this morning, it's odd, but it could have also been a lingering after effect from the maintenance.
