why you activated 2 FFXIV service accounts to the same SE account?

I have 2 account linked to one because of a mistake I made so was trying to make use of that mistake. Have a friend that bought the collectors edition and gave me the buddy pass. Well stupid me thought the buddy pass was a temp thing so after 1 month I decided I would go head a buy the game. Bought it linked it to my account then call SE to see how to get my char to the new account and they broke the news to me saying the buddy pass was the real game and I didnt have to buy another copy. CD key was already entered into my account and game opened so I couldnt return it. So basicly I waisted 49.99 (was how much it was going for second month it was out) and cant even use it.

i got this before too and i have one account, i think its because of the ip address since i access my account from different computers. I also considered someone may have been trying to hack my account.
se will reactivate with new password no problem ,just gotta follow instructions.
