The ultra important of being able to ban people cross-server in dutyfinder

hello this is my first and most likely my only post to this game, i would like to share
my feedback on your duty finder system which has caused me so much pain and grief
heres a few pointers:
1. people leave after 1-2 wipes and you cant blacklist them
2. 10 year olds thinks its fun to ruin groups in dutyfinder by acting as idiots
3. people use very strong words against each other as soon as there is any problem

all in all you can see the problem right? you cannot blacklist these people and there is
no function to make sure that you never play with them again in dutyfinder
this is why i must leave this otherwise excellent game, i simply cannot stand
this sort of lack of simple social features.
i know some people asked for this a year ago already, but you didnt listen then and you probably wont listen then
too bad i subscribed for half a year, ohwell the game looked really good at first but now its unbearable even with the expansion around the corner

I'd rather see the player commendation system extended so that DF will prioritize matching players that the player has played with before AND has commended. Blacklists are slipperly slopes where someone goes "oh so-and-so is a jerkface", then that so-and-so gets blacklisted from all servers by people who never even played with them. Allegations untrue or not.

You act like every duty you ever queue for is going to have same people in it. The odds of getting the same person multiple times is rather small, unless you are doing something like frontlines where the playerbase for certain GCs/Datacenter is small.

I'd rather blacklist unpleasant people who are from a different server than blacklisting players who leave after 1-2 wipes. Leaving after 1-2 wipes does not make someone unpleasant.

If anything, it's more courteous to leave quietly than it is to stay and be grouchy and unpleasant.

Depends on the content. For most stuff it's not a problem to replace them, but when you've been in que for 50 minutes for SCOB and someone leaves after one wipe (thus forcing the entire raid to disband because no healer or tank will ever join up) it is quite obnoxious.

If one person leaves more people leave generally and it is usually easier to remake it. You also can do PF if you want to specify how many runs you wish to do if you don't want to do the fight as tank or heals.

Only Coil and the Extreme Primals ever do this. Good luck getting a DF party, and if you queue multiple times because of "wipe=ditch" you'll inevitably get the same tanks and healers, and maybe one of the same DPS. I could see the patience wearing thin if the same Tanks/Healers keep getting the same DPS repeatedly.

In one example of T5, I got the same tank MT twice, and the OT was new both times. The first time the MT explained everything, the second time the vote to abandon came up after the second wipe without any explanations.

But to the point: Even blacklisting someone will not make sure you will not be put in the same group with that person again. I personally had multiple instances that someone from my blacklist (aka same server) was put in a roulette with me.

And to be honest - if you cant forget about the bad seeds and move on it is probably best you move on from this genre - in any game that needs multiple human beings to complete content you will run in those from time to time. You deal with it, or you avoid it. That's not meant to be an insult, just a friendly reminder coming from 15 years of MMO experience
