True story, I wasn't inspired by anime to create this character. I was inspired mainly by Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet.

They look really cool, and I tried one for a little bit, but I couldn't really get into it. Their animations are so-so and their idle poses are the same generic ones that midlanders and elezen use.

If we are to "blame" Square-Enix for anything, it's infusing cats and lalafell with so much personality in all their animations. If they can work that same magic with Au Ra I might convert, but it'd have to be something amazing.

They have the widest range, I think. They can be stunning, but they can also be pretty far off base as well.

The main reason I chose Lalafell because they look cute with everything, even with low level hoodie robe, and their emotes are fun too. Some player design their character with the wife material, fantasy dream girl, or their self in a fantasy versions. I admire the Hobbit who manage to save the Middle-Earth even they are just small race and Lalafell are similar to that, small but able to beat the Titan. Well it's everyone choice who cares? Even whole Eorzea population are filled with miqo'te, it doesn't affect me at all.
