Roegadyn is the best race in this game but only few (cool) people notice it. Also, female roegadyns are the hottest.

This character was a Miqo'te once and I don't regret it at all.

I believe that after the hype has died down people will choose to go back to midlander and miqo'te. Some already don't like how their scales look weird and patch. then there's also the fact that they have scales atleast on their backs.

Female Miqo'te is the most played gender/race combo in the game. Probably because people want to play the pretty or cute looking race. Au Ra female might steal some of the Miqo'te population, but that could all depend on how they look in a swimsuit. Not sure if people would want to play a race with a bunch of scale patches on their skin if you can't look good wearing a swimsuit, while a Miqo'te has perfect skin.

Because you can't have a tail and cat ears in real life, and it makes it fun having a tail.

Well, you also can't wield magic, slay giant turtles, and teleport with money in real life either. Looking at everything else you can do in game, that makes the tail and ears look even more minuscule in determining boring vs fun.

Also, that still doesn't change the fact that Miqote are 95% human, 5% cat. that's a very small difference. I'd see the OP's point more if Miqote were at least mostly cat.

I used to be Miqote, I really didn't feel any different from a Hyur besides animations and body shape and whatnot.

I'd definitely play one if that was the case. I bet a lot fewer Miqotes would be miqote though, even though that would be much less of a "human type race" and by default further away from being boring according to the OP's words.

I went Hyur in 1.0, but only because male Miqo'te weren't an option yet. I was just hiding the ears and tail until the meteor hit.

Also I'm probably going to switch to Au Ra.

I am testing the looks and walking and everything I can out of the Au Ra before I pop my fantasia.

Though I am also changing due to that it being a fresh look, I used to be elvaan in FFXI and here because cat guys run better than elezen males not like a stick figure.

once I see if Au Ra works out perfect that is going to be my main race. If it don't im sticking to this.
