I bought game on both PC & PS4, now I buy expansion on both too ?!!

No. Neither did EQ players, FFXI players, or anyone else. I have no idea why FFXIV players do.

I never played WoW, and I played GW2 for 1 month off a friend, I never played XI.
It just so happens not everyone plays the same games as you do, odd concept for you?
