Your thoughts and what you would like to see for the Gold Saucer in the future?

The GATEs are too easy imo they should of made them harder like for example cliffhanger could of been 10 times longer with several npcs to complete the GATE along the way the further you go up the more difficult it gets but you get more MGP but then you also risk getting nothing if you wish to get to the top as soon as you talk to 1 npc the GATE is finished, at the moment its just 1 sprint and your done in under 1min.

Triple Triad I love but the tournament structure is so bad it ruins the whole thing (my biggest disappointment in the game so far) they should change it to something like a duty finder bracket tournament with 64 players from several servers where you can enter 7 mini tournaments per week, you accumulate points depending on what place you finished in then at the end of the week you will have a your final total score from all 7 mini tourneys that you entered.

Choco racing is also good but there is a few items you get during the race where it can completely ruin the race which need to be nerfed I haven't gotten into racing so much as you need to invest alot MGP to get some of the upgrades/items for it but since I prefer TT I'm saving up for the cards.

The cactpots are going to last for awhile as I always see myself entering the Jumbo/mini until I have all the MGP items I want.

Overall the Gold Saucer got old too fast for me and for several other players, the whole of idea of adding the gold saucer was a great idea and the design of the actual Gold Saucer place is awesome, the quality and effort they put is there but there isn't enough content/difficulty to last more than a few weeks hopefully SE can change the TT tournament format and add in harder GATEs so that you cannot beat them all straight away which will make the whole GS last longer.

Weekly fishing tournaments - Largest fish caught in a zone (zone randomized weekly). Only 1 entry per person. You catch a fish and you have the option to submit it to the tournament. Once submitted any other fishes caught will not be counted for that week.

Scheduled Chocobo Races and Battle Tournaments that allow betting pools.

Maybe Dungeon related activities. Things, people can play and meanwhile learn something they will need in dungeons, raids and so on. Would make sense in many way. It would help the "soldiers" to train and the civilians can feel like or mimik their heroes.

Not sure about chocobo race tournaments. It's very hard to balance this out. Should be no PvP, imo. Chocobo racing as it is is not really designed for this.

Hmm... maybe on a course with more obstacles, less or no items, more control over the chocobo, this MAY work.

Would be fun indeed. Those jumping GATEs are the one with the most active gameplay, but they are short and the reward is a joke (while the very easy dance and imp GATEs give 480 MGP oO). :/

I'm throwing in another vote for Battle Square.

Maybe add a ride like the Speed Square (a rail shooting game for points through the Canyon that Gold Saucer is built into. More points = more MGP) or bringing Snowboarding in.

Also, once more racetracks are available, a series of Cup Tournaments for Chocobo Racing (Call them things like Moogle Cup, Manderville Cup, Sultana Cup, etc.)
