Suggestion: Chocobo Hot & Cold Quest/Treasure Hunt

Back when I played FFIX as kid, I used to spend hours and hours playing the Chocobo Hot & Cold quest, searching for treasures, restoring Chocographs and powering up my Chocobo. Now that Ishgard is next to arrive I really wish something like that to be implemented, since Chocobos are historically breed in Ishgard and somewhere I read there will be something like a Chocobo Forest too.

Now, we already have treasure hunts where people dig up treasure maps, defeat fiends and get loot. But what if we could teach our Chocobos to dig special maps? It could work this way, staying close to the original FFIX concept:

• People would be able to teach their Chocobos how to dig for treasures by complete some quest/line at Chocobo Forest in northern Eorzea.
• People would be able to play the Hot & Cold minigame inside the Chocobo Forest by paying a fee to an NPC (Mene?).
• The more you play, the better your Chocobo will be at digging.
• Chocographs (special Treasure Maps) and Chocographs Pieces are sometimes awarded while digging in the Forest.
• Once you get a full Chocograph, you're required to find the spot it mentions, and dig it up with your Chocobo. These treasures are hidden all over the world, in areas outside the Chocobo Forest.
• Once you get there, a monster spawns, guarding the treasure. You're then required to slay it along your Chocobo and possibly party members with their companions too.
• Like regular Maps, loot is distributed to the party.
• Maps could either be randomized from a set, like the Treasure Hunt system, or one-of-a-kind, like the original FFIX.
• Other than treasures pointed by Maps, hidden treasures could be found in the wild by following some clue (Chocobo tracks or something) and digging around until you find it.
• In FFIX there were special treasures that awarded your Chocobo the skill to swim/climb mountains/fly. As this might not be very feasible/usefull in FFXIV, there could instead be treasures awarding access to Chocobo Sanctums other than the Forest (FFIX had the Lagoon and the Air Paradise), with rarer loot and Chocographs.
