Nerf in triple triad NPCs, REALLY????

NPCs is not strong, all know that... the only problem is this random rule! this nerf is not necessary.... instead of nerf NPCs , buff the drop rate in trials because i already completed Battle in the big keep 120+ times and The Dragon's Neck 100+ times WITHOUT receive any card!

A couple NPC's would disagree (Swift, Marcette), but it it primarily due to their rules. Modify the rules and they're instantly easier to play against.

These are all the first wave of TT players after all - I expect new NPC's in Heavensward to be stronger as we get more cards and stronger decks.

Well, it's a fact that with quite a few NPCs, the deck rules only seem to apply to us... not really fair, tbh. Not only that, but TT AI also seems to be non-existent quite often.

The AI also knows your cards regardless of the all open/three open rule.

I've experimented on many occasions where normally you'd think you'd have the NPC fooled and they can't possibly know what card you have left and what number it is. At that moment they intercept your card's placement and screw you over. Like having a card with an 8 somewhere and readying to topple over a card with a 7 where there are three other possible spots to place a card. The NPC places it over there to defend it. I tried this again while replacing that one card using the same card placement as before(And the AI will always about 90% of the time repeat all their moves), they didn't bother covering it. Tried this again more times repeating the same play and swapping the same two cards. The same thing every time. He knows what I have. NPC's just have their retard moments and I am sure it's done this way to help you win.

This is interesting, I appreciate the answer. Maybe I'll test this out myself next time I'm bored farming MGP.

My problem with TT npcs is rules that only apply to the player like 'no open, three open, random, etc'.

These rules just don't matter for AI with only like 6 cards, but they hurt the player a ton.

I agree with this. But its more a matter of it not making sense.

The Random rule especially. How is it random if it doesn't REALLY randomly take a pick of any of your cards. At least you would have a slight chance of getting all 4 star cards once in a while. But you have 0 chance because its not really random. For you OR the NPC. Silly.
