Just curious on this, will dx11 be included in this client or would it be a different client all together?
Hoping they bring a 64bit client out. And better crossfire support.
really hoping 3.0 brings these features

Supposedly the 64-bit client is going to be out soon, as well as the DX11 one. I hope they're one in the same. Seriously, who still uses 32-bit windows?
The image was done by someone else, no credit for me. Just using it as an example. For HDR you can use the poor mans solution with Sweetfx. I'm only using it for colour correction.
You can't say no to options, because that's what these graphical features are: optional. No, god no. The game never understands what I'm trying to look at, and so the DoF just makes things much, much worse. It's just like when I went to watch Avatar in 3D; they used DoF and it absolutely ruined it for me. In a standard 2D feature, DoF is fine, but with 3D (and thus video games), I want to be able to choose what I'm focusing on.
Supposedly the new client is bundled with the expansion which means we have two options for a download/install depending which you buy. I have 2 GTX 680 so i'm with you there. The SLI/Crossfire just doesn't work optimally.

I did not see any mention of a 64bit client did they actualy say something like that? I only know about the DX11 support and the EU datacenter which are coming along with Heavensward (if we are lucky and no further delays).
Ohhh I support this, OP!
Oh ty thanks. The interview is a year old and no further info upon DX11 and 64bit client. I really hope they will say something soon. Only 3 months left.
