Retainer Stats

I've searched a bit and didn't find anything, which is odd, or I'm blind, but:

Does anyone know if stats affect retainer's normal ventures' items' quality?

Sometimes my i30 Lv50 Botanist(I've only been using her for shards until recently) brings me 30HQ low level items and I really would like that to happen more often. Is it possible to increase the chance with higher perception? Or is it iLvl I should be concerned about?

Any info on this?

As far as I'm aware the only stats that matters for a botanist retainer is Gathering.

The only "stat" that matters to DoW / DoM retainer is iLVL, and the only stat that matters to DoL retainer is gathering.

Would you say that Gathering increases the chance of getting 100% HQ items in botanist ventures?

There has been no shown correlation between increased gathering and HQ rates. Gatherings only purpose to gate the varying loot tables and ventures types your retainer can be sent on.
Increased Gathering does have the effect of reducing the time needed for standard gathering ventures Lv1-50; basically you can reduce the time from 1 hour to 40 minutes.
