What's with people wanting ninja to become a tank? If you look at the final fantasy games, only XI is the one that made it into a tank. There's a lot of people playing ninja happily as a dps and you know what they say: don't fix something that's not broken(not counting the mudra thing).

I never understood this trope. It literally makes no sense, a ninja strives to be the complete opposite of what a tank strives to be.

Samurai? Sure, that makes sense, they're armored and powerful and intimidating. You aren't even supposed to know a Ninja is in the room before it kills you, why the hell would it be gathering enmity?

quite simple, you get a thf and you trick+sneak attack onto... oh wait....

Yea they fixed that in this game. NIN was never meant to be a tank in XI but became one so they made sure that can't happen here.

This. Though admittedly, the fact that it was such a different way to tank from normal meat shield etiquette did make it unique and fun for some.

I know a few people went back to their old DPS job after getting tired of NIN's Mudra lag. If Utsusemi: Ichi and Utsusemi: Ni were added at Lv55 and Lv60 respectively, as well as Provoke, can we see the return of blink tanking, and would this bring folks back to playing NIN?

Do this and you'll decimate the already thin ranks of tanks, bringing back the blink tank would be - in my opinion - a truly stupid idea, so, no, just no.
