Live Letters with no translator

Am i the only one who is getting a bit annoyed now with live letters? They know a large amount of English speaking people will be watching but they never have a translator...EU/NA community team if there isn't gonna be a translator don't bother advertising it to go watch it when majority don't understand. It seems like your just dismissing the whole English community by saying "Hey there is a Live Letter going to happen! But, you wont understand so watch anyway!" At least try to get someone there.

They recommend that you watch, but you don't understand anything but they do! Don't get me wrong its kinda great how fans in the English community do live translation and love those people who do it. They are doing one tomorrow and its Japanese only...When its stuff on pre-order information for Heavensward =_=. I don't want to wait how long just for the team to translate it when they say we should watch live.

Hey that's just my opinion anyway but it is just getting annoying for me now :/ I hope in the future they consider putting a translator there for us. I believe if they actually had one more people would watch.

It would be impossible to have a translator dub it in real time, like with the PAX conference, but agree that they should make it easier for English speakers and other regions or that matter to understand what is being said.

I stopped watching the live letters for the simple fact that even when they show concept art and videos you still don't know what they are talking about which makes it mostly pointless.

They should work on translating the live letter quicker IMO.

I wouldn't mind if they translate it quicker, by the time they release it i don't even care anymore. They always say stuff which relates to the slide and i cant fully understand it and left in the dark lol. We need our Reinheart back if they leave it like this ;-;

they tend to have the powerpoint slides in both eng/jap so you should get the general idea.

They are a massive company they could translate it a lot faster, Reinheart used to translate extremely fast and he wasn't even being paid to do it and much of the time had other things to do in between translating so how you think they are doing it as fast as they can is anyone's guess.

They might say they are doing it as fast as they can, but I very much doubt they are.

It should have never been left for the community to translate in the first place, it just screams lazy and shows an attitude of disinterest to non Japanese speakers.

Don't get me wrong when they do make an effort like at PAX they did a great job and the translator did an amazing job, they should prob put more effort in to translating these letters leading up to the expansion because everyone has a lot of questions they want answered.

with their current resources* If enough people in the various language communities are upset enough eventuall Square Enix would undoubtedly figure out something to reprioritize the translation, even if the aren't live.

That's the thing though i mentioned there are ways to get the information but having the fans doing it seems a bit lazy on SE side. Also yes slides in English but they always go more in depth when it appears and that is missed details until people translate it. I would rather have someone there translating so i can actually have the great experience of watching it "LIVE".

I don't know if there's a specific one, but there's always someone live translating the live letters.
