Heavensward CE

Hi everyone,

Just wanted a quick clarification on the upcoming preorder of the Heavensward Collector's Edition.

I understand that the physical CE may be limited in quantity. However, for the digital CE (I believe that there is one?) will it be unlimited or do you think they limit quantity available for preorder for the digital CE as well?

I'm interested in getting the CE edition of Heavenward but I prefer to have the digital over the physical.

I would guess the download edition would be unlimited (or at least take a really long time to "sell out"). The ARR CE download only edition was up for a really long time after the game launched.

ARR CE is still available to download. Also, you can upgrade your SE into a digital CE whenever you want on the mog station

I think they're going to cover this and more with tomorrow's (Saturday) Live Letter. I'd imagine there will be no limit to the digital CE (since there are no resources involved beyond bandwidth) such that literally every player could purchase it. For the Physical CE I'd imagine it's probably just best to pre-order right away if you want it and they'll finalize the quantity after assessing the demand.

As others have said you can still upgrade to the ARR: digital CE if you want to, so Heavensward will likely be no different.
