"PlayStation 4 Upgrade Campaign Ending Soon"... Another April Fools joke?

They've announced that the free upgrade from ps3 to ps4 is ending on April 1st. But is it really ending on that date? Is it coincidence that its exactly on April 1st? We've all been duped before with other announcements. How can we be so sure that this wont be another joke? A lot of players haven't upgraded from their ps3's yet and we've already made plans around this announcement. If this turns out to be another April Fools joke, then you'll really be throwing a huge monkey wrench at us.

I know that an announcement like this isn't something that a game developer would joke about. But because of the date, there will always be a hint of doubt to it. So we need to know, Square Enix, If your really serious about this. Will the free upgrade really end on April 1st? please respond. Anyone.

Doubt it.. It was announced long time ago it was ending at the end of March..not on April 1st.

They already extended it. It was supposed to end at the end of 2014. I really don't think it's a joke.

Considering they released the PS4 version in mid-April last year, that's almost a year of time for people to upgrade. If you haven't upgraded in that time, you're likely not coming back to the game anyway.

The last day for the upgrade is march 31.
So yes, on April 1 it is over

If you've made plans around it what are you waiting for. Why would you hold out on upgradeing its like1000x upgrade ps3 so bad.

If you have a PS4, there's no reason not to upgrade. If you were planning on getting a PS4 anyway, now might be a good time.

it was meant o end with 2014, but they extended it to march, now they extended it again to april 1st (giving it a day or 2 still counts as extending it:P )(probably so ps3 users can upgrade in time for heavenward,) but i doubt strongly they will keep this up for much longer, because they do want to drop the ps3 support, after heavenward, so i would see the expansion being a true final deadline.
