Well, stat priority isn't vastly different from White Mage, except that Scholars tend to value Crit more than Det because of our chance to proc our Galvanize abilities. So, something like: Weapon Damage > Mind > Crit > Det.

Really, other than that it's just a learning process like any other class. I would recommend leveling via dungeons, particularly the Low Level Roulette. Don't level Scholar via FATEs if you don't have much experience healing in this game, you'll be at quite a disadvantage when you start doing more advanced content in the game, speaking from experience here. Heh.

Hmm, other than that, the sooner you learn to have your Fairies on Obey, and learn how to control their abilities manually, the better off you'll be. It's okay to have them on Auto at first, but the quicker you ween yourself off of the AI, and learn to multitask them yourself, the more effective you will be.

Only real "advanced" thing I can say, and only advanced because it's a problem (I feel) that many end game Scholars have, don't rely on Macros. A lot of Scholars out there use Macros because they are convenient, but they tend to cause issues due to the different cooldown your ablities have compared to your Fairies. Physick + Embrace is popular, and while it isn't likely to cause you any serious issue, you'll actually manage cause your Fairy's Embrace to get further and further out of time with your Physick and prevent her from casting it when she needs to, and can interfere with other macros you may be using.

Heh, I could go on and on, but I think I'm good for now. XD
