And this wouldn't work for the OP as they said that they want the Needed item to be able to fall to them instantly. It's not taking into consideration that their other partner might not Need on it until later, which means still waiting, which is what they don't wanna do.

The OP clarified later that they wanted the loot to fall to them instantly after they pressed NEED (assuming they're the only one that's allowed to roll NEED on that piece of gear).
