Character UI Setting - Import / Export

Is there any way to export / import your character configuration, HUD setup, etc. ?

While waiting for Leviathan to come back up today, I created another character and it was a real PITA to setup the UI.

We can save character appearance info. It would be great to be able to do that for all the config.

You can on PC fairly easily, the stuff is located by default at C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

There is a folder for each character starting with FFXIV_CHR, just copy the files in the folder for one character to the folder for the other character.

You might end up with some bad info, like retainer venture status in your /timer, but it will update when you refresh the information, calling your retainer in case of the venture status.

would be nice if they would let us do export on PC or PS4 to a flash drive then import to a PC or PS4 from that flash drive, not being able to do this is rather annoying

For PC:
go to your Client (were you have the field for username/PAsswort/and safety token)
Then choose configuration and after that Backup Import/Export (first choice)

For PS3/4: no idea

oh I know how to back up my settings on the PC, I want to be able to import them and my character config to and or from the PS4. I don't want to have to redo my entire configuration. yes I know there will be some settings missing and different but being able to keep the basics like my hotbars and my character settings would be nice

I am wondering why this is not being looked at or if it is, i am having a very hard time finding info. I buy the game on pc and ps4. To play on the ps4 i will have to set EVERY SINGLE THING up again. That's a crap ton of stuff from my UI to gear sets. I am just not sure programmatically what problems are preventing this feature From being implemented in 14

No other way, you will need to redo your whole configuration on your PS4, I just did that recently, had to take screenshot of the setup for Jobs that I play. Only half done since I still haven't setup my crafter crosshotbar. Should really let us export our configuration as a PS4 readable file since it doesn't seems like they will be doing a cloud sync for this
