A lot of anime/manga males do tend to have feminine traits so that's kind of a cultural thing I'd always assumed. Take Sesshomaru for instance, when I first started to watch Inu Yasha on toonami I thought that was Inu Yasha's mother (end credits) until I actually seen him in the show... mix in the overbearing hypersexuality twisting that's spoiled the west, and they have a "diverse" audience to cater too now. Look at how many aggressively begged for feminine bunny guys during the last expansion, going to the point of shaming the dev's for not giving them more "diverse" options. You are going to step on someone's toes no matter what you say these days, some even make a living out of being offended these days XD, just speak your mind and never apologies unless you are genuinely sorry for something. Not everyone is petty and spiteful, if they are worth talking too they will respect your opinion even if they don't agree with it.
Little ladies day was just something cute for girls, but the car event and the emo outfit and oversized clumsy boots was mainly aimed at guys. (I still feel dizzy grinding for that car on 2 different toons at Golden Saucer =@.@=)
It's all a matter of perspective, and with so many possibilities in the game, it's up to those who have found what they have liked about the game to share it, it has potential for a more traditional presentation too, those who have the means should share their experiences so as to not leave the impression it's just for the "diverse" crowd. I know glamour's can be important when leveling, the male outfits can be kinda feminine and female ones kinda slutty, but that goes back to it's anime origins too of strange outfits.
