QUESTION:

I currently have 4 retainers. If I want to delete one so I am not paying for two extra retainers each month...WILL I LOSE ALL MY STUFF IN IT??

Should I move all my stuff out of my retainer before I delete it? Or does it matter?

A. No, they will not.

In the event the service period for additional retainers ends, items and gil will remain, but you must resubscribe to the service to access them.

EDIT: If you are planning to delete your retainers, you should move your stuff out of them

ONE MORE QUESTION:

When you delete your (additional retainer that you pay for on the Mog Station)... Will it give you the option TO CHOSE WHICH retainer?

I don't want to move all my stuff out and then they DELETE THE WRONG retainer.

Any tips on this?

I've once stopped paying for the two extra retainers:

The Moment you pay for them again everything will be there again (items, Level)
also for your question about which you can Keep: you can only choose to go from 2 to 1 or 0 so I believe the lowest one in the list will be taken from the two.

You mean I can't CHOOSE the (additional two that we pay for) retainer I want to delete?? That is crazy!. I would be so upset if it deleted one of my first two that we get for free.

They should make this more clear so that you can empty out the retainer and know that it's THAT ONE that will be deleted.

The 2 retainers you get for free will always be first and second in your list the first retainer you buy will be third and the second retainer you buy will be fourth in your list. If you decide to only pay for one retainer then your retainer listed at the fourth place in your list will not be accesible for you anymore. So you will always know which retainer you lose you just cannot decide which one it is out of all four (I hope this wa smore clear than my post before)
