    they called it a free log in weekend but it lasted 9 days.

    Except that those people rarely ever renew their subscriptions... So they stay for the free log in compaigns and then return again when they come around.

    Though, to the OP, I'm not seeing how free login peeps would even bother to buy the houses... I'm wondering why they would bother to spend their saved up and non-renewing gil (since they don't play besides free weekends) for a house...

    well there has been threads that came up about RMT adds getting out of hand, some people has made interesting points
    not all servers have really bad RMT problems, so they said "Maybe the server your on has people buying gill" so if someone ponies up the cash (and risk getting caught/banned) they don't save squat, so what would keep them from buying a house?
    new wards and/or subdivisions are needed, as far as the free weekends go it's ok, sure there are a small percentage that stays, that's great, if they are buying gill, they need to be banned plain and simple.
