    Market Strategies!

I thought I'd make a thread about market Strategies and what I like to use to sell my items I think we could share and give tips to new players about selling on the market board and also what not to do.

I personally like to sell my items in smaller stacks rather than the big 99 full stack of ore/ingots whatever I'm selling I'll try and lower the quantity, but also higher the value for that privilege, because let face it in the real world your not gonna go buy 99 bottles of water when you only want one or two.

Several low end items can be purchased from vendors and resold on the market board at 700% mark-up or more. I have done this frequently with Clear Glass lens, 90 from vendor, sell for 700-1000 on the MB.
Small stacks of 10 work great for this.

find an item that sells for around 100-150 each and sells in stacks.
Preferrably around level 20-40ish but not too popular.

Buy out the entire market board and list your items in 5s 10s, 20s 40s and 99s.
Price them something along the lines of

    150ea/99
    170ea/40
    190ea/20
    220ea/10
    250ea/5

Every time someone under cuts you, buy them out and relist it at smaller stacks of higher price.
i.e. somebody puts up 10 for 149gil each. Buy it out and relist it as 2 stacks of 5 or a stack of 10.

Keep doing this for 2-3 days and you should have dominance on the market and you can slowly start increasing prices as your bankroll increases, just be careful what price point works for your server. Too high and you'll run into someone who's gone and gathered thousands of them and will just undercut you to oblivion..But unless you do it too viciously, you won't run into competition because MB at that price range is not too competitive.. You'll mostly be competing with bots or people who are leveling so competition will come and go.

There are two very good strategies to follow.
    1. Never reveal your secrets.
