    MCH should have Balthier clothes as their AF

    juts like MNk will have one from Yang??
    ff12 balthier looks really good and his official portrait is him holding some shotgun and MCH uses that too

    The artifact armor is Eorzean lore-related, specific to this universe. (and FFXI since this game spawned from a cancerous growth)

    But as OP said, Monks just got a Yang costume, while Dragoons have been dressing as Kain for years now.

    Exactly this!

    Besides what do you think the Artifact Armour is based on?!? Its traditional garb that's pretty much appeared throughout the Final Fantasy Series.

    Eh? I don't know about that. It doesn't look a thing like Pld Cecil to me. However it does seem highly Ishgardian Knight themed. Like Sir Emeric and Lucia's knight attire.

    having the af gear for the mch look like Balthier would be amazing plus on your comment Balthier gear in FFXII is not based on Ivalice lore so there no reason why it wont work in the FFXIV ARR world. i would love my mch to look like this:

    It's an interesting idea.

    In my opinion, it needs to be a bit more flamboyant, but there's some great detail in there.

    Pfft, I'd rather be Edgar.

    Sure he doesn't exactly fit the gunner look, but he was a Machinist after all.

    Alternatively I would settle for an Irvine look.
