But if you were testing this by, lets say, spamming Esuna, wouldn't the Esuna that cost no MP be off of the previous one?

It does not give you a buff, which makes your next Esuna cost nothing, which means you can get the 0MP Cast on the first Esuna you will do.

This is true. It used to give you a buff a long time ago but I'm guessing it was changed at the same time as Overcure was changed to be half MP cost instead of guaranteed crit Cure III (which at the time of the change was a much better proc due to WHM mp management). Tooltip should be updated to reflect it.

Though I can't say for certain, I also believe this is a mistake dating back to beta 2 or 3, when the additional effect was a 20% chance to proc an AoE on the next use. Ah, the good ol' days, back when things were simple. When tomestomes but a twinkle in your father's eye... Ahem. Anyway, the text has been revised, and you can expect the fix to go live with 2.55! Thanks for the help!

It sounds that way, but in reality it took so long to proc that by the time it did, there was nothing left to Esuna.

While having AoE as the proc is weak because it's unpredictable, having an AoE esuna (esunara?) as a 51+ spell would be awesome, imo. Kinda hope either that happens or Astrologian gets an AoE ailment cure.
