Highlander males are like old cars-- you have to work on them and maintain them. With enough care-- they can outshine any plastic-made models out there. XD

It's all subjective. Honestly the only thing they have going for them in my eyes is their physique - because whilst you can make them ruggedly handsome you can't really make them classically handsome which is a real shame.

Their lack of eyebrows means you have to literally paint them on and on top of that even the faces that look great from the front look very odd when you see what their noses are shaped like from the side.

In short? If you want something classically handsome then you're better off sticking with a Midlander or going with an suitably designed Au Ra instead. We can only hope that the developers make another pass at the character creation for all races and add some much needed additional options.

This and High res texture pack are in my list of "All I want from FFXIV" (beside fresh gameplay content ofc).

Not really, all "attractive" highlanders have a bad case of samefacee.

I think all races suffer from "same face". Highlanders just have 2 destictively different faces people choose while the other races look all exactly the same. Some races like Au Ra, Lalafell, Miqo'te & Roegadyn all face choices look way too similar, so they all look the same. Midlander and Eleven have one face people will almost always pick, so again, they all look the same. I'm going by male choices from what I've seen. All females look the same to me, but I've never seen their choices.

Definitely use a darker skin tone. Also a proud owner of an attractive highlander that does not use Face 1.
