The earlier dungeons are okay. They have some unique qualities to their design and even though they are all easy they aren't terribly boring other than Tam Tara and Toto-Rak

Every dungeon released since Brayflox HM is complete trash. The devs are so paralyzed with fear that players might commit the great sin of *gasp* speed running, so every dungeon is now a hallway with 3-6 mobs between locked doors. Very boring, very lazy design. I don't even look forward to new dungeons anymore, they are all guaranteed to be anti-speed run hallways with 0 difficulty and only drop glamour gear.

If Expert Roulette didn't exist I would have no reason to ever do any dungeon. I wish there were difficult content outside of coil. I would love some challenging 4 man content.

My thought exactly. I posted this in another thread and I'll support anyone who say the same!

    Well said!

Not really. Aside from the second boss in Wanderer's Palace HM, every boss has been the same with nothing new per patch. It would be nice if bosses gained new attacks depending on the parties average ilvl, or did something slightly different on every run.

I actually kinda do like them. I prefer to run with friends, since the one issue I have with dungeons are those times when you get pothelms, as my FC tends to call them. (Based off a bard in T1 last spring who claimed we were all noobs and he was so awesome and had a level 90 character -- I assume i90 -- but had no idea how to use Blunt Arrow or what his task was... and probably barely covered the ilvl requirement. But it was because of us 'noobs' that we wiped to the ADS. His i55 Mercenary Pot Helm was... memorable, for some reason.)

Friends tend to tell me I'm crazy because I even enjoy Dzemael Darkhold and Aurum Vale, though the latter I only really like as a tank ^^; Of course, I'm not at the Zodiac drop stage with my relic yet, so... it's possible that might change.

Not sure why I like them, I just... do. Partly due to the exploration of them, I guess. I never really appreciated Sastasha (the first dungeon) until I ran it with three friends and we spent almost the entire time in there, just exploring and investigating every nook and cranny ^^; I think we had about ten to fifteen minutes left on the timer when we got to the last boss. But it was the most fun dungeon run ever.

I find them a means to an end but not fun at all.

For the most part yes I enjoy them!

The possibility of good personalities I get matched with helps me enjoy them far more then any mechanics could. I would get just as sick running a difficult , over drawn out dungeon 200x as much as an easy, fast one 200x. repetition is repetition no matter how you try to disguise it.

Any content, repeated excessively, lessens the enjoyment. (I wouldn't enjoy countless hours of GS mini-games....or months of straight crafting...anything that's too repetitive to me, becomes very mind numbing. Granted the developers are only human, they can only develop and add in so much at a time and I think they are doing quite well even though they seem fixated on primals, will be good when they run out of those.

I always liked besieged and campaign when it was relevant in ffxi, more variety of outdoor content would be a good thing, with relevant and equal rewards, allowing for solo, small group and premade raid group participation to achieve an end goal. I know fates exist ..but I liked the scale of ffxi events, content would need decent rewards to self sustain it.

Granted ffxiv is still young imo, I do think a lot more variety will be added as time goes on just as it has in ffxi over its many years, SE can indeed be very creative, but they don't rush anything
