Extreme Trial Roulette

While I have solo-tanked titan, almost got solo tank/heal kill, I would never do this roulette just because half the people in these df groups suck. I had a failed mog hm run, where people actually died, how does that even happen? And don't get me started on titan hm. In some groups, people are good enough that I can sword oath tank the entire time, but other groups are so bad you can't even raise a single one of the because they immediately die, eating all mp, even with 50% echo, try running TEX as part of a roulette, it would be horrendous, half the farm parties for it fail anyways. So, while some ex primal ate easy enough to do through df, most players somehow fail to grasp the mechanics and fail on most Of this old, trivialize content. I say no to roulette because I don't want another rewarding, most likely solo-queue trial fail too much due to people not knowing how to play

Totally agree with DF derp syndrome(especially Titan ex/Leviex/Mogex , but the option would be nice, especially if you can queue with premade parties(like my FC mates).

I've actually had a good number of PTs in DF clear Levithan Ex, In Titan Ex there has been a good deal of close percents. I've won Garuda ex countless of times in DF.

Don't see the big deal in having extreme roulette - if you don't like it - don't do it lol?

I'm unsure about a Roulette style for this too, if they do it they should at least make it so you only have access to it once you cleared all of them once, else it would be a wipe fest by default.

What I personally would like to see is some sort of Primal Focus 2.2, with a weekly quest for clearing the 4 'newer' ex primals, or even get rid of the old quest and make a new one where you have to clear all 7 (or 8 if you count Odin...). Of course this quest should give rewards that are not completely outdated, especially since running the CT weekly already gives coat/twine while the considerably harder Primal Focus quest only gives i90 weapons.

If spended the last week in dutyfinder ruda EX runs (and have at least sneaked into other ex-primals via df) and I dont really believe that an ex-trail-roulette would be a good idea - even though I'd still like to see one (also, dont know much about gamedesign/programming but it cant be to hard to just add another roulette, right?).

...but well - Garuda is considered the easist Ex-primal and can be killed in like 5-10mins... with those df-groups I easly spended 30+ in it and it normally took us 5+ attemtepts to kill her because people kept doing stupid mistakes ("Oh, someone marked an enemy with an ignore-sign... what to do... what to do... LETS KILL IT!"). I've seen people standing in tornados (even though I'm putting waymarks down each time and give a brief reminder who stands who) and had to argue with a caster once why he should be one B after he got killed by Suprana&Garuda two times because he came over to cuddle. I've seen Shiva parties which couldnt pass adds, people getting killed by dives in Levi, not even reaching adds in Ramuh and dps confusing GKMM HM&EX and rushing to kill the blm as soon as they've spotted him (and keep doing so after three explantions and an ignore-sign above the blms head) - I havent tried Titan or Ifrit (for obvious reasons and because I dont like them as much as I like the rest). Even if people have gotten the clear once (I agree: you should only have access to the roulette after you've beaten all of them) its still awesome to see how much they're failing. I know that there are people getting there clears&wins in df... and like I said: So did I... but it wasnt that much fun most of the time. If they add something like that: Please, allow preformed parties!

I suppose that the idea behind the trial roulette was to make sure new players would get full parties on storyfights because there was no reason (except for some rare drops and, well, outdated weapons... and maybe some cool fights in itself) to go back to those trials - but thanks to light we're spamming them now over and over again!

My opinion on this and a raid roulette at all (some might know my formers posts ) is that its is something needed. I remember the times when you barely could get a Ifrit or Garuda HM win on DF and Titan was like... forget it. The first two of em sorted Titan was still FORGET IT!!! Then roulettes got added.... first few weeks Titan HM was 30 min wipefeast then abandon or if lucky people sorted it and won.
With a decent reward you get veterans on fights to redo them that usually wouldnt do so and this would help the newer people to progress and actually get the chance of a win. I dont expect it to be a 0->100% thing, because it wont- Even now with i120 you find wipeparties for Titan HM but it'll progress and slowly help new players. And then one day we all will laugh bout the day we all feared Titan EX in DF

I wonder how would EX roulette work ? If player was "bad" and get carried thru Ex/Coils , then this player join roulette ? :O look @ DF it gona be same , everyone just will click roulette instead usual EX lol and everything will be same as in DF . that why this isn't possible .
