Easing of Glamour restrictions

Would SE eventually address some of the glamour restrictions we currently have now?

I can see the argument why they would not want a DoM class wearing DoW gear (whm using plate mail); but I fail to see why it cannot be set to DoW being able to glamour any gear across DoW classes.

As an example, a WHM being able to glamour BLM gear as long as he/she has leveled both classes to 50 and capable of wearing both.

Glamour is purely cosmetic and it is pretty clear from the party list what are the job classes. Also glamour is one of the main attractions in the game and a way for players to differentiate themselves in terms of looks.

Since glamours may be disabled in certain areas, why not have the option for players to turn it off if they do not like to see the glamours of other players?

Not sure why they can't simply add a new line to the local item data:

Equip: THM ACN BLM SMN
Glamour: Disciples of Magic

They add on to existing item data all the time as it is, and since most of that data is coming straight off our HDDs it wouldn't (shouldn't?) be a server concern, either.

They seriously need to rethink they're glamour policy, especially since they've just opened the proverbial floodgates for the inevitable invasion of bikini bunny tanks.

Seems like the most they can do is create new items with the same look.

It's time for glamour restrictions to go. There is no logical reason to keep them anymore.

Class/Race/Gender locked gear needs to be a thing of the past.
