help with monk materia for novus

hey guys
im doing books and i m planning on get my zeta soon or leater
so what materia put it on?this is my situation:i got 1,400,000 guil and some materia too:
det+1×2 det+3×3 det+4×2 det+6×2
crit hit rate +2×6 crit hit rate +4×3
acc+2×6 acc+4×6
some materia are expansive as hell,and reading in the net im finding 2 lists i can do
31 DET 22 ACC 22 CRIT
30 CRIT 23 DET 22 ACC

now what will be the beast?first is stronger?i know will cost more,but if is very very good ill might try do it,othervise go with 2nd will be good or too much difference?also,farming zeni and materia will be worth or just go with 2nd and dont think about it?explain and discuss

The higher DET one is better.

You will gain +7 DET by the time you reach Zeta, if you put 31 DET into your Novus (31 -> 38)
30 Crit will be +6 at Zeta (30 -> 36)

On top of better scaling, DET has higher stat weighting than Crit for monks. It will give you more DPS per point.

so the work for the det one is worth? is first time im doing relic usually i stop at atma but i wanna do it good now since i completed almostr all other things of endgame

The extra det is definitely more dps... however it's up to you whether that's worth it or not. The 7 det difference is probably all of 3-5 dps when you get right down to it. The most important stat for increasing your damage is weapon damage which is purely a function of item level. After that is STR. After THAT is determination at something like 1:5 between STR and Det. So by that ratio you could also look at those 7 points of Det as being 1.2 STR. Would you spend tens of millions of gil to gain 1.2 STR?

thanks 1,2 str is not a lot...thanks bro iu was scared of lose like 100 dmg...but i doubt it i will ever notice it

I'd just meld whatever you can get away with. Concentrate on DET first, then CRIT, then ACC, then SS if you need to. These can be redone later if you want. Moving on to the light farming portion of the quest as soon as possible is going to be better for you in the end.

i was wanna do max det,but if the guy say the truth and is like 1,2 str i will not invest money on max it,cuz i will need guils for zeta too (of what i read)
